FRICTION POINT
The living room design had remained unchanged for years. The area rug was stained, and the oversized modular sofa was placed in the middle of the room, causing the movable back and arm pieces to shift during use.
DESIGN SOLUTION
The stained rug was replaced with a washable one. The oversized modular sectional was replaced with a durable leather sofa and two accent chairs to create a more stable seating arrangement. A coffee table was added, glass corners were protected, and an accent wall and floor lamp introduced warmth and visual interest.
